After some discussion, new officers were chosen for the 2006-2007 ski and snowshoe season. Geoff Harvey agreed to act as president; Bea Christopherson as treasurer and Carol Ridge agreed to be secretary. Hilma Volk will remain the webmaster. Jackie Beery will be historian and Van will be the trail groomer.

Outgoing officers were given tokens of appreciation and a big hand. Jackie Beery read a poem in honor of outgoing president, Jim McMillen.

The Liar’s Club presenters all told good tall tales and all deserved a prize, according to their appreciative audience.

Several possibilities for expanding the ski area for the next season were discussed. In mild winters, the existing 4th of July ski trails are too low, but if the club is allowed to expand to an area about the present area, there would be better snow as the elevation is great. Also, if the kilometers of ski trail were increased, perhaps the club could attract new members.
